▼ 환승하러 가는 길에 저멀리 대한항공이 보입니다. B787기종이군요. 해외에 거주하면서 한국 비행기 볼때 참 기분이 묘합니다. 괜히 그 비행기 타고 한국가고 싶고 그런생각이 들어요. 하지만 오늘은 저도 한국으로 귀국하는 비행편을 탈 예정이라 많이 슬프지는 않습니다. 현재 시각은 토론토 시각으로 오전 10시 52분입니다. I can see a Korean Airlines out the window as I was heading for the connecting flight. It looks like another B787. It feels kinda weird when I see Korean planes since I live away from my home country. I just want to hop on the plane and head back to my home town... but today I'm headed for a plane bound for Korea so I'm not that upset. It's 10:52AM local time in Toronto.
▼ 라운지에 왔습니다. 뭐 큰 기대는 안했지만 일단 배가 고파서 이것저것 주워먹습니다. 게다가 너무 피곤하더라구요.. 아무래도 전날부터 거의 잠을 못자고 새벽부터 비행기 2개나 갈아타고 왔기에... I'm at a lounge. I didn't really expect to see a good variety of food here but I had to eat some because I was hungry. On top of that, I was so sleepy. I couldn't sleep last night and I had to change 2 flights from early morning to come here...

▼ 게이트앞에 서있는 B787입니다. A350도 아닌데 선글라스 쓴 모습이네요. 이걸 타려고 새벽부터 고생해서 캐나다까지 왔습니다. 오후 12시 20분이군요. I'm at the gate now and I can see the B787. This guy has its sunglasses over the cockpit as if it is A350. I took early morning flights and flew all the way to Canada to try out B787. It's 12:20 PM.
▼ 곧 탑승예정입니다. Zone 2 탑승그룹에 배정되었습니다. Boarding soon. I'm assigned to Zone 2 boarding group.

▼ 좌석은 이정도 입니다. 아직 사람들이 다 안타서 비어있지만.. 제 옆에는 누군가 탔습니다... The seats looks like this. Although it looks fairly empty, it's because not all people have boarded yet. Sadly, someone sat next to me.
▼ B787의 큼직한 창문입니다. 아시다시피 B787은 창문가리개가 아니라 버튼으로 밝기를 조절하는 전자식 창문덮개를 가지고 있습니다. 사실 전 촬영하는 입장에서 아주 좋습니다. Huge window of a B787 doesn't have a physical window shade. Instead it's equipped with electronically controlled window shade which changes the transparency of the window. As a video recorder, I prefer this window much more than the physical shade.

▼ 이륙했습니다! 오후 1시50분쯤이네요. 착륙까지는 13시간쯤...걸립니다. The plane took off around 1:50PM and it takes around 13 hrs till landing.
▼ 간단한 스낵을 먼저 주는군요. 이륙후 50여분 지난 오후 2시39분입니다. A simple snack was served approximately 50 minutes after takeoff. It's 2:39 PM.
▼ 드디어 첫번째 기내식입니다. 아주아주 일반적인 기내식같이 보이는 밥이랑 고기랑 야채랑 샐러드가 있네요. 이륙후 1시간 반쯤 뒤에 나왔습니다. 오후 3시21분. Finally the first meal was served about 1.5hrs after take off (3:21PM). Rice, beef and some veg. were served. A very very typical in-flight meal.
▼ 열심히 날아가고 있습니다. 어딘지는 모르겠지만 추워보이네요. We're cruising for hours now. I don't know where I'm now but it surely looks cold down there.
▼ 기내는 어두워지고 다들 열심히 뭔가를 보고있습니다. The cabin light was dimmed and everyone's watching something...
▼ 이륙후 5시간 반쯤 지났습니다. 해가 지는거 같네요. 출발지 기준 오후 7시24분입니다. It looks like a sunset approximately 5.5 hrs after take off (7:24PM origin time)
▼ 아직 멀었습니다. 7시간 넘게 남았... It's still far away from Seoul... 7 hrs left..
▼ 샌드위치를 주네요. 기내식 먹은지 6시간 조금 안됐습니다... 착륙까지는 5시간 40여분 남았습니다. I got a sandwich. It's been around slightly less than 6 hrs after the 1st meal. Still have 5hr40mins till landing.
▼ 이제 절반이상왔네요. 도착까지 5시간20분쯤 남았습니다. We're more than halfway there! Another 5 hours and 20 mins till landing.
▼ 바깥은 다시 밝네요. 윗사진 찍고 30여분 지났습니다. It's bright again outside. It's been 30 minutes since the previous picture.
▼ 윗 사진에서 땅이 보이길래 어디쯤인가 궁금해서 보니 여기네요. I saw the land as shown in the previous pics so I looked at the map. We're here!
▼ 윗 사진을 찍은지 또 3시간반이 지났습니다. 밖은 아주 밝습니다. 3.5 passed after the previous picture. It's fully bright outside.
▼ 촬영은 12시간 18분째군요. GoPro is recording for 12 hours and 18 minutes.
▼ 위치는 여기쯤입니다. 북한의 북쪽이네요. The location is now... here.. North of North Korea..
▼ 두번째 기내식을 줍니다. 오믈렛을 선택했습니다. 시간 계산을 해보니 이륙후 대략 12시간, 착륙까지 1시간, 첫번째 기내식을 먹은지는 10시간반쯤 지났습니다. 간단한 샌드위치 먹은뒤로도 거의 5시간이 되어갑니다. Second meal was served. I chose an omelette. It's been approximately, 12 hours after take off, 1 hour till landing, 10.5 hrs after 1st meal, and almost 5 hrs after the sandwich bite.
▼ 북한을 빙 둘러서 서해로 왔습니다. 이제 착륙은 15분쯤 남았습니다. We're flying over the west coast of Korea, definitely going around the North Korea's territory. 15 mins to landing.
▼ 바깥이 그리 깨끗하지 않아보입니다.... Outside doesn't really look clear...
▼ 착륙했습니다. 출발지 시각으로는 새벽2시 50분, 한국시간으로는 2월 20일 오후 4시 50분입니다. Landed at ICN. The time at origin is 2:50 AM and the local time here in Korea is Feb 20, 4:50 PM.
▼ 에어캐나다는 스타얼라이언스이므로 터미널1로 갑니다. Since Air Canada is a member of Star Alliance, we're headed for Terminal 1.
